My journey into this work is both personal and collective.
As an immigrant and formerly undocumented individual, I have lived the realities that many of the communities I serve continue to navigate—uncertainty, resilience, and the constant negotiation of identity and belonging.
These experiences shaped not only my path into mental health, but also how I understand healing:
not as an individual process alone, but as something deeply connected to culture, community, and systemic realities.

I am the founder of Insight Family Counseling & Wellness Services and Insight Wellness Center, where I lead initiatives that integrate clinical care, education, and community engagement.
In addition to my clinical and community work, I serve in leadership roles across professional organizations and contribute to ongoing conversations around equity, access, and workforce development in mental health.
My approach is grounded in the belief that:
I am especially passionate about supporting spaces that center:
🌿 Immigrant and mixed-status communities
🌿 BIPOC healing and leadership
🌿 Decolonizing mental health practices
🌿 Community-based models of care

I don’t just support healing—I help build spaces where individuals and communities can reclaim their voice, their story, and their power.
